摘要
Energy cooperation is an important part of China's promotion of the“Belt and Road”Initiative.Over the past two decades,countries along the“Belt and Road”route have been important partners in China's international energy cooperation.On the one hand,China's leading technology in renewable energy and competitive advantages in power generation equipment can effectively solve the problem of power shortages and help optimize the energy structures in countries along the“Belt and Road”route;on the other,with China's sustained economic growth and increasing energy demand,its dependence on imported oil will remain high,and its dependence on external natural gas will continue to rise rapidly.Many countries along the“Belt and Road”route have rich endowments of oil and gas resources which perfectly match China's energy demand.As a major area in which China's energy enterprises invest and from which China imports oil and gas,this region is playing an increasingly important role in ensuring China's energy security.By taking full advantage of each other’s strengths,we will achieve mutual discussion,joint building and shared benefits,and enhance regional energy security.
