Practice and experience of medical social work in the municipal hospital

医务社会工作是国内医药卫生体制改革的重要内容。根据绍兴市人民医院所处城市的人文环境和自身医疗护理特点,通过建立完善组织机构和工作机制,培养专业人才队伍,整合、规范工作内容,开展了包括探访、个案、小组、社区、志工、安宁疗护等医务社会工作,取得了初步成效,得到了患者、社会和医务人员的肯定和好评。

Medical social work is an important part of healthcare reform in China. According to the characteristics of urban cultural environment in Shaoxing and medical care and nursing care in Shaoxing People’s Hospital, medical social work including follow up, case study, group, community, volunteer and hospice care was carried out by completing organizational management and mechanism, professional training and standardizing care. It has got good effect and got active reflection by patient, social and medical staff.
