A brief introduction and discussion of the service models for oncology clinical pharmacists in the United States

目的:介绍美国肿瘤专科临床药师的资质、职责、工作模式和共同特点。方法:通过参观学习美国医院肿瘤专科临床药师的日常工作,并结合文献总结美国肿瘤专科临床药师药学监护工作的内容,分析其服务特色及考核指标。结果和结论:美国肿瘤专科临床药师培训体系完善,临床药师工作职责和考核指标十分明确。依赖于强大的信息系统的支持,药师参与的服务项目十分细化,药师与其他医务人员互动的可见性强,药师的工作记录痕迹清晰,药师对于全院药物治疗的标准化和个体化起到很大的推动作用。药师的教育背景和专业素养、医院的行政支持以及药师与医护关系的早期培养等因素决定了肿瘤临床药师在治疗团队中不可或缺的作用。

OBJECTIVE To introduce the qualifications,responsibilities,working patterns and common characteristics of oncology clinical pharmacists in the United States.METHODS Through visiting and studying the daily work of clinical pharmacists in oncology department of American hospitals while combined with the literature review,the content of pharmaceutical care of clinical pharmacists in oncology department of America was summarized,and their service characteristics and assessment indexes were analyzed.RESULTS and CONCLUSIONS The training system for oncology clinical pharmacists in the US is well-established,and the duties and assessment metrics for the performance of clinical pharmacists are well characterized.With the powerful hospital information system,the service items that pharmacists involved are detail-oriented,the interaction between the pharmacists and other healthcare professionals is traceable.Pharmacists play a great role in promoting the standardization and individualization of drug treatment in the hospital.With strong education background and professionalism,the administrative strategy of the hospital,and the early development of the relation between pharmacists and other healthcare professionals,the oncology clinical pharmacists in US are playinging an integral role in the treatment team.
