Training for Listening Skill of English Majors of Five-Year College in Elementary Stage

本文充分了解了五年制英语专业学生听力中存在的问题,提出在基础阶段(一、二年级)的听力教 学中应从以下几方面培养学生听的能力:听辨音能力、词语掌握能力、语法运用能力、预测能力、复述能力及良 好的心理素质。

Understanding English majors of Five - Year College and their problems in English listening (through questionaire and test), the author put forward that we should cultivate the students' listening skills from the following aspects in elementary stage i. e in the first two years: ability of listening to and recognizing sounds; ability of leaming words and phrases ; ability of applying grammar; ability of predicting; the ability of retelling and good psychological diathesis.
