1900-1919年的20年是词学由传统向现代转型的“发韧期”,王国维《人间词话》的词学研究为沉 闷的晚清词坛吹进了一股“清风”,但传统的词学研究方法在当时仍然占据着词学坛坫,以“清末四大家”为代 表的常州词派继续引领词学发展方向。

From 1900 to 1919, the 20 years was a period when the research of Ci poetry developed from tradition to modern. At that time, Wang Guowei' s research brought the refreshing wind to the depressing Ci world in the later Qing Dynasty, but the traditional means of research still played the important role, especially, the Changzhou School leaded by the four famous Ci poets continued directing the way.
