The advent of the information age facilitated the flattening of organizational structures and global economic integration.In the rapid transformation and development,productivity stimulates the sharp mutation of production relations.Organizations,businesses and management are faced with new business models and new strategies.Also,new individual and organizational behaviors and new social phenomena which appeared suddenly in large scale,have a profound impact on society.The intermediate or mid-level management is removed due to fattening organization structures.Agent cost,as a result,is further reduced through high-speed and high-efficiency approaches of production.The immediate consequence is the disappearance of a large number of middle management positions,which may damage the loyalty of employees.New production relationship built and new social problems caused during the process of organization flattening should be taken care of seriously.
