新时代背景下珠中江经济圈发展的地缘经济研究

Geo-Economic Study of the Zhuhai-Zhongshan-Jiangmen Economic Circle in the New Era

随着粤港澳大湾区战略的提出,如何在新时代运用新发展理念推进珠中江经济圈的发展,提升其竞争力,缩小珠三角地区内部经济发展差距,是当前区域经济学者及政府部门所重点关注的课题。作者运用地缘经济学理论分析珠中江经济圈在粤港澳大湾区协调发展中的地缘经济作用,指出珠中江经济圈在经济发展中存在的不足:经济增长效率过低、经济发展动力不足、区域内产业同构化严重、区域协作发展效应不明显。文章提出的助推珠中江经济圈发展策略是:建立更加有效的区域协调发展机制;统筹兼顾错位发展;积极培育区域中心城市,引领区域发展;依托创新解决区域发展动力;深化供给侧改革构建区域发展新格局。

In the proposed framework to develop the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area(GHMGBA),how to advance the development of the Zhuhai-Zhongshan-Jiangmen Economic Circle(ZZJEC),how to increase its competitiveness and narrow the development gaps within the Pearl River Delta Region(PRDR)under the new concepts of the New Era,are the main focus of both regional economists and government officials.Based on geo-economic theory,this paper analyzes the geo-economic role of ZZJEC in the coordinated development of GHMGBA and discovers the following problems:low efficiency in economic growth,insufficient momentum in economic development,high industrial homogenization within the region and mediocre outcomes of regional cooperation.It provides the following suggestions as a reference for the government decision-makers to advance the ZZJEC economic development:create a more effective and coordinated development mechanism for the region,develop the three cities in a more balanced and mutually complementary way,proactively foster a leading city in the region,gain the momentum with innovations,and reach a new stage of regional development by deepening the supply-side reform.
