On Wushu and Its Cultural Pattern

中国武术文化是在中国传统文化土壤中长期形成发展起来的,具备完整结构功能特征的独立文化系统。宏观意义上的武术应是中国传统格斗术的总称。近现代以来,中国武术也随社会文化变迁融入了近现代竞技、体育等文化的因子。但是,竞技武术不是中国武术传统的历史文化形态。作为中国武术源头与根基,民间武术文化研究应该得到应有的重视。在近现代大众传媒高速发展的背景下,武术与媒介结合的愈加紧密,应充分利用各类传媒技术平台来推广和传播武术文化。

Chinese wushu(martial arts) culture is an independent cultural system formed and developed in the soil of traditional Chinese culture over a long period of time with a complete structural and functional feature.In a macro sense,wushu should be a general designation of traditional Chinese martial arts.Since modern times,Chinese wushu has also been merged into cultural factors of modern athletics and sports with the development of social and cultural changes.However,competitive wushu is not the historical and cultural pattern in Chinese wushu traditionally.Due attention should be paid to the study on folk wushu culture as the source and foundation of Chinese wushu.Under the background of a rapid development of modern public media,the combination of wushu and media has become increasingly close,and technical platforms of various media should be fully utilized to promote and spread wushu culture.
