An Explanation for Two Points in Mechanical Analysis of the Art of Attack and Defence in Wushu

摘要 传统武术过去的发展主要以实践和经验积累为主,少有对机理的研究,后者是现代科学范畴。将现代科学引入到武术理论的研究中,用科学理论解释武术动作的机理,对提高实战效果、针对性地增强养生保健功能具有重要的指导意义。本文运用牛顿力学的动量定理和连续介质力学的应力概念阐释了一些武术动作蕴含的力学机制,从科学的角度进行了力学分析。分析表明,在传统武术发展过程中积累的一些宝贵的实践经验可以用科学知识很好地解释。传统武术和科学理论的结合,将给前者的发展注入新的生命力。 The past development of traditional wushu(martial arts) mainly relied on the accumulation of practice and experience but lacked researches on mechanization, with the latter belonging to the category of modern science. It is of important guiding significance of improving the effect in actual combats and pertinently strengthening the function of health care to introduce modern science into the research of wushu theories and explain the mechanization of wushu movements with scientific theories. This essay applies the momentum theorem of Newtonian mechanics and the concept of stress in continuum mechanics to explain the mechanical principles contained in some wushu movements and make a mechanical analysis from the angle of science. The analysis shows that some precious practical experience accumulated in the process of traditional wushu development can be clearly explained with scientific knowledge. The combination of traditional wushu and scientific theories will inject new vitality into the development of the former.
