An Explanation to the Confusing Phenomenon of "Suspending Too Much" and "Holding Weapons with Both Hands" in Current Short Weapons Competitions

认识与了解短兵运动是发展短兵运动的前提,对短兵面临的诸问题很大程度上是缺乏对短兵运动全面深入的认识,譬如,短兵比赛"叫停多"、使用"连击""互击""双手持兵打法"等问题都涉及到对短兵项目的认识度。运用文献资料、比较法、逻辑分析等研究方法,首先就项目为什么不能使用"连击和互击",从实践检验、项目自身特点、竞赛操作、同类项目普遍做法等方面给以分析,以消解这方面的困惑。其次就短兵"叫停多"的疑虑、短兵对抗使用"双手持兵打法"的困惑给以消解。

Getting to know and understanding short weapon movement is the precondition for its development.Lack of comprehensive and thorough understanding of it will lead to series of problems,such as 'suspending too much',using 'double hit' and 'double counter',as well as 'holding weapons with both hands'.By using literature review,comparison and logical analysis,this paper firstly discusses the reason why 'double hit' and 'double counter' should not be used in short weapons competition.Then this paper analyzes from the aspects of practice,features,competition process of short weapon movement,as well as general methods of the equivalent sport.Finally it gives an explanation to the confusing phenomenon of 'suspending too much' and 'holding weapons with both hands'.
