The role of estrogen in the development of colorectal cancer

摘要 Cancer is a major public health problem in the world.With the progress of medical technology,mean 5-year survival rates of colorectal cancer(CRC)have doubled over the past 40 years[1].However,in 2013,the International Agency for Research on Cancer(IARC)released data on cancer incidence,mortality and prevalence worldwide.The IARC’s online database provides the estimates for 28 types of cancer in 184 countries worldwide.
