摘要
本文初次提出计算古海洋宽度的地质地球化学方法,求得古亚洲海洋(蒙古段)在奥陶纪时宽度达5805km。
Due to subduction of the two margins in the Palaeo-Asian ocean plate, the Palaeo-
ocean is closed. This paper proposes the geological-geochemical methods for calculation of
the width of palaeo-ocean. The calculation method is:
1. S1 = (T1-T2 ) V
where
S1: Subduction distance of the palaeo-ocean plate;
T1: beginning age of the palaeo-ocean plate subduction;
T2: end age of the palaeo-ocean plate subduction;
V: closed speed of palaeo-ocean.
2. S= 2 (S1 +S2 )
where
S1: subduction distance of one side of plaeo-ocean plate;
S2: remnant width of one side of palaeo-ocean plate;
S: width of p1aeo-ocean.
The result of calculation indicates that the width of the paleao-Asia ocean is 5805 km
(in Ordovician ).
