摘要
对本科学生进行双语教学是教学改革的一种新的尝试,它是为新世纪培养大量的优秀建设人才的需要。为了改进双语教学的教学质量,要考虑四个方面的因素,即:(1)如何提高教师的外语水平; (2)如何培养学生的外语技能(主要是英语);特别是如何扩大学生的外语词汇量和增强学生的阅读理解能力;(3)如何进行适合于双语教学的教材建设;(4)如何调整适合于双语教学方法的教学计划。
Bilingual teaching in universities is a new trial in the educational reform, and it is the requirement for us to train great numbers of excellent builders for the new age. There are four fields for us to think about in order to improve the teaching quality in the bilingual teaching, those are (1) how to improve the foreign language skill of the teachers, (2) how to train the students in foreign language skill, mainly English, especially enlarge their vocabulary and strengthen their reading comprehension ability, (3) how to compile the textbooks that are suitable to the bilingual teaching, and (4) how to adjust the teaching planes for the bilingual method.
