The definition,connotation and constituent factors of the military common term'combat effectiveness'are expounded,the relationship between personnel,tasks and conditions are analyzed,and it is pointed out that the personnel in combat effectiveness are the dominant,the task is the goal,and the condition is support.The overall structure,conditional content and main features of the US military’s general joint operations task list are briefly described.Some thoughts on developing the joint combat task list of our army,are put forward in order to arouse readers’attention and carry out further discussion.
