宁海许家山:有故事的石头村

Xujiashan,a Village Made Up of Stones

许家山村是浙江宁海境内茶院乡许民行政村中的一个自然村,位于宁海县东部、茶院乡西部,距县城13.5公里,平均海拔约200米。全村有277户,总人口720人,村内劳动力大多外出打工,常住在村人口为220人左右。该村区域面积4718亩,山林面积3008亩。因该村的屋子都由石头筑成而颇具建筑特色,加之村落历史久远,古香古色的韵味引起了摄影人的关注。

Xujiashan Village in East Zhejiang is the best preserved ancient stone village in its original conditions.Located 13.5 kilometers off the county seat in the west of Chayuan Township and east of Ninghai County,the village covers an area of 0.58 hundred thousand square meters with an average of 200 meters above sea level. It is a world of stones:houses are built of stones,roads are paved with stones and steps,bridges,windows,apparatus... are all related with stone.In the ancient village,not only stone houses have been preserved intact,but traditional life style has been continued.Folk tales remain popular among the villagers.Stories such as The Celestial Making Bridges and Ye Daqing Moving Residence to Avoid Troubled Times are still passing from mouth to mouth in the village stone lanes.Due to its unique scenery,the village is also selected as a scene in the film The Barber,a posthumous work of the late director Chen Yifei.
