宁波市工艺美术大师李光昭走进宁波聋哑学校漆画工作室,向在校学生认真地讲解泥金彩漆的技艺。这是今年73岁的美术大师为泥金彩漆的传承而做的最新贡献。在这所学校里,他意外地招到了4位徒弟,这让他喜出望外:"他们的心很静,能够坐得住。泥金彩漆的全部精髓也许就靠他们来传承了。"长期以来,招不到徒弟一直是李光昭的一块心病。
Li Guangzhao entered the lacquer painting studio at Ningbo School for Deaf-mutes and set out to show his students the skills in Ningbo special handicraft lacquerware conscientiously.The 73-year-old Li has followed the profession for over half a century and is now a master of arts and crafts in Ningbo.As time goes on, he becomes more and more worried about successors.Though Ningbo special handicraft lacquerware is a national intangible cultural heritage,he finds not many youngsters are fond of it due to its sophisticated technology. When teaching at the school,Li came across four students who were all keen on and quick in learning Ningbo special handicraft lacquerware.Li was overjoyed at his accidental discovery.He spoke highly of them,saying "They are children with peace of minds and are cable of concentrating on their work.The essence of Ningbo special handicraft lacquerware depends on them to inherit and pass down to our generations."Therefore,he had a cordial talk with their parents and by common assent,he formally took four apprentices,realizing his long-awaited desire.
