As a photographer,Liu Shibin began to forge an indissoluble bond with Shitan. a simple,primitive and drowsy village in Xiakeng Town,Shexian County,Anhui Province,in early 1990s.The silent village became lively because of the continuous arrival of photographers and the wide distribution of photographic work.Furthermore, caring people began to help some poor children with schooling,photographers began to encourage local people to set up "home of photographers" to get rid of poverty, tourism began to prosper and peoples life began to turn better and better.
