摘要
黄古林地处宁波市西郊鄞州区,是闻名中外的草席之乡。当地手工编织的蔺草席子,与台湾、江苏、广东的草席一起,合称为"四大名席"。鄞州产的草料软硬适中,以二人搭档、手工木机操作编织,草席挺括、耐用。"席地而坐"是中国远古先民的生活习俗。7000年前的河姆渡先民已会编织草席。宁波鄞西芦家桥出土的炭化草席残片。
Huang Gulin,situated in Yinzhou District,west of Ningbo,is the world-famous land of straw mat.The local hand-made straw mat,together with the straw mats of Taiwan,Jiangsu and Guangdong,are collectively known as the "Four Famous Straw Mats".The straw material produced from Yinzhou is neither too hard nor too soft and the straw mat made by two co-workers using manual wood machine is smooth and durable.
