The Wonderful Apricot Blossoms in Xingpan Village

浙江省缙云县双溪口乡姓潘村,本是一个名不见经传的小山村,但它却有其独特的味道——春天一到,满村的杏花,开得那个叫人心旌摇荡。不知是谁最先发现了它,于是,每年杏花开始绽放,小山村就会涌来许多扛着相机的男女。他们的到来打破了小山村的宁静,但也把姓潘村的名气扬了出去。

Xingpan Village lies at Shuang Xikou Town, Jinyun County.Apricot blossoms in the village are so excellent that people always call the village Xinghua (apricot blossoms) Village,having forgotten its real name.Its excellence lies in the location of the almonds which line along the stream at the middle of the village; Its excellence lies in the character of almonds which never stand in ways by putting its roots in stones,and making its branches slant over the water surface;and its excellence also lies in the quantity as it lines row upon row and extends one li from the beginning to the end of the village.
