作品创作于新西兰著名的星空小镇特卡波(Lake Tekapo),其黑暗天空保护区占地4300平方千米,照片中的好牧羊人教堂是当地的标志性建筑。新西兰初春天气多变,作者等了两个通宵才等到漫天繁星,为了避免相机长时间曝光产生的热噪,此图用6张照片叠加而成,

This photo was shot in Lake Tekapo,a small town famous for observing stars with International Dark Sky Reserve covering an area of 4300 km2 in New Zealand.Church of the Good Shepherd in the photo is the local landmark building.The photographer spent two whole nights taking photos of stars due to the changeable weather of early spring in New Zealand.To avoid the thermal noise generated by long-time exposure,the photo was montaged by six photos with ten minutes,exposure time each.It was shot by Nikon D3S with 16mm focal length,f/4 aperture,601-second exposure time and ISO400.
