In the ancient and serene Baishanz.u forest,moistened by dewdrops of spring,various mushrooms come to life again,just like elfin emerging from underground overnight.There are over 370 kinds of mushrooms in Qingyuan County,about100 of which can be eaten or used for medicine.They arc the elegant jewelry bestowed by God,nourishing endlessly.Planting black mushroom is an important industry for Qingyuan people.The county is the origin of black mushroom cultivation in the world dating back to the same time of the county’s founding.Qingyuan black mushroom has been awarded several national awards successively.
