Provincial Party Chief Giving Agricultural Modernization a Thumbs-up

2014年中央一号文件以"全面深化农村改革,加快推进农业现代化"为主题,对农村改革进行了全面部署,而2015年中央一号文件延续了深化改革的思路,聚焦"加快农业现代化建设"。实现农业现代化,是我们这个传统农业大国实现三农中国梦最坚固的基石。今年1月13日,省委书记、省人大常委会主任夏宝龙赴海盐专题调研农业农村工作。他强调,我们要主动适应经济新常态,深化改革,创新驱动,坚定不移转变农业发展方式,加快培育新型农业经营主体,积极构建现代农业产业体系,不断提升农业物质装备和技术水平,大力发展现代高效农业,加快推进农业现代化。

With "Comprehensively deepening rural reform and speeding up agricultural modernization" as its theme,the No.1Central Document of 2014 delivered an overall arrangement for rural reform.Likewise,the No.1 Central Document of 2015,focusing on "Speeding up the construction of a modern agricultural sector",continues the direction of deepening reform.China is a large agricultural country.Achieving agricultural modernization is the solidest cornerstone for its agriculture,countryside and famers to realize their "Chinese Dream". "We should actively adapt ourselves to the new normal state of economic growth,deepen reform,implement innovation-driven development,firmly transform agricultural development mode,accelerate the cultivation of new types of agricultural management entities,actively construct modern agricultural industry system,continuously improve agricultural equipment and technology,pay enough attention to the development of modern as well as efficient agriculture,speed up agricultural modernization and constantly improve farmers’ incomes",said Xia Baolong,Secretary of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of Zhejiang Provincial People’s Congress,on January 13,2015 when he was inspecting agricultural and rural work at Haiyan.After the inspection,Xia praised Haiyan for its implementation of modern agriculture and agricultural reform.
