Upgrading under China’s New Normal Economic State

1月25日,2015年浙江省两会在省人民大会堂闭幕,"新常态",无疑是今年两会一大热词,浙江如何迎接新机遇,应对新挑战?如何打开新思路,推动经济社会新发展?人大代表、政协委员纷纷"发声",为"新常态"下浙江"新作为"献计出力。"对于海归来说,到哪个城市,选择什么行业特别重要。行业,我选互联网;城市,我选浙江杭州。"从新加坡归国创业的张敏说。为什么选择浙江,选择杭州?"因为浙江有一种特殊氛围。"张敏如此解释。

Zhejiang’s annual Two Sessions(NPC & CPPCC) concluded on January 25,2015 at the Great Hall of People of Zhejiang.Admittedly, "new normal" had turned up as a hot word during the sessions.How to embrace new opportunities as well as challenges and how to explore new ways to facilitate social-economic development were new topics for NPC members and CPPCC members who were enthusiastic in proposing their plans for Zhejiang’s "new progress" under the backdrop of "new normal".Last year witnessed an emergence and growth of internet economy in Zhejiang,which is regarded as an economic highlight.Simultaneously,Zhejiang also has kicked off some other practices,including the treatment of five waters,streamlining administration and delegating powers to lower-level governments,transformation and upgrading,innovation-driven development and so on,to adapt to the "new normal".Thanks to these efforts,GDP growth of Zhejiang increased from 7.2%in the first half of 2014 to7.6%in the whole year,with internal benefit becoming more and more prominent.Li Qiang,governor of Zhejiang Province,pointed out during the Third Session of the Twelfth Zhejiang People’s Congress that in 2015 we should put information economy with internet economy as its core at the first place and speed up the development of seven industries concerning information,environmental protection,finance,health and so on.Furthermore,we are supposed to grasp the essence of "new normal" comprehensively,in a bid to adapt to the dramatic changes with better qualities,more benefits and more stable advancements.
