Wu Longyou:Once a Film Director and Now a Painter

吴龙友笔名叫"钱塘影人",因为,他曾是浙江电影制片厂导演,拍了半辈子的影视片,获奖无数。这位76岁的老顽童,却并不满足,他说,人老了,要么就在本行变法,要么就改行创新。2015年元旦,吴龙友书画影视作品展在杭州唐云艺术馆举行,前来捧场的不乏书画界大腕。中国美术学院中国画系教授闵学林半开玩笑地对吴龙友说:"龙友兄,你怎么弄到我们里面来了,我们可弄不到你那里面去啊!"虽说艺术都是互通的,但终究隔行如隔山,电影和书画,看起来距离实在是有点远。吴龙友谦虚地表示,自己也是从中沾了光,如今在书法家里可以算是会拍电影的,在电影人里可算是会写字画画的。

The pen name of Wu Longyou is "Qiantang Yingren"(Qiantang Filmmaker),because once he was the director of Zhejiang Film Studio and won lots of prizes during his filming career.The 76 years old Peter Pan is not satisfied with himself,saying that one should seek changes within his career or turn to another career for innovation when one is old.Now he has turned to painting & calligraphy circle and is competing for his own place.On the first day of 2015,Wu Longyou Painting,Calligraphy and Film Exhibition was held at Tangyun Art Gallery,which even attracted some top notches in painting & calligraphy circle.All forms of arts are closely connected,but after all,differences in profession makes one feel worlds apart.Obviously there are substantial differences between filming and painting & calligraphy.What lies behind his successful profession change are years’ hardships and efforts.
