Dasong Stone

大松石的前世今生寿山石、青田石、昌化石和巴林石并称为四大国石,早已闻名艺林,而出产于宁波鄞州大嵩地区的大松石在中国篆刻史上同样具有十分重要的地位。从历史沿革、特色、石性到书画界名人首肯,大松石在金石篆刻界无可替代,为印石之翘楚,遗世之珍品,虽不在四大印石之列,却能以其高雅、清纯、莹润著称,更以"有骨气、性适刀"而深受人们的喜爱。由于大松石产生的物理、化学环境不同,从而形成了不同的种类,从现有出石看,有晶莹剔透的晶石,有温润细腻的冻石,有颜色丰富的彩石。

Regarded as the four national stones,Shoushan Stone,Qingtian Stone,Changhua Stone and Balin Stone have been well known in art circles for a long time.Although Dasong Stone is not listed as one of the four national stones,it is noted for its elegance,purification,brightness and smoothness.Made from Dasong,Yinzhou,Ningbo,Dasong Stone,playing an important role in China’s seal cutting history,enjoys an irreplaceable advantage in terms of its history,features,texture as well as celebrities’ approval.Honored as a kind of outstanding stone in the world,Dasong Stone has gained deep affection from people by virtue of its "moral integrity" as well as "suitability for cutting".Dasong Stone serves as a cornerstone for Yinzhou’s establishment as the hometown to calligraphy.Despite the fact that the development of Dasong Stone has experienced some twists and turns,Yinzhou is now ready to promote and enhance its further development.
