东阳竹编是东阳地方民间文化品牌,与东阳木雕一起支撑起东阳"中国民间艺术之乡"的荣耀。2008年5月,东阳竹编经国务院批准列入第一批国家级非物质文化遗产扩展项目名录。何福礼——东阳竹编国家级"非遗"唯一传承人,长期在竹艺编织第一线摸爬滚打,数十年磨一剑,从一个小篾匠成长为一代竹编工艺大师。

Dongyang city in Zhejiang is regarded as the "Home of Chinese Folk Art",famous for its bamboo weaving and woodcarving.As one of the calling card for Dongyang,Dongyang bamboo weaving has enjoyed the favor of Dongyang people throughout the centuries.In May 2008,Dongyang bamboo weaving was listed in the catalog of the national intangible cultural heritage by the State Council.He Fuli,the sole inheritor of Dongyang bamboo weaving,has grown from a bamboo ware craftsman into the bamboo art master through decades of endeavor.
