摘要
石门村位于奉化溪口,共有13000多亩竹林。数百万棵毛竹漫山遍野,苍苍莽莽,蔚为壮观。当地人称这里生长的大毛竹为'大毛筒'。从竹根以上1.5米处丈量,最大的'大毛筒'直径可达18厘米,最高的'大毛筒'高度超出20米,相当于六七层楼的高度,一般的'大毛筒'也有四五层楼高。
It’s quite spectacular when enjoying the scenery of millions of moso bamboos planted all over the mountains in Shimen Village, Xikou town, Fenghua. Since moso bamboos here are big, bamboo peasants tend to cut bamboo heads in order to relieve stress from the wind, so bamboo lives through typhoon season and winter with heavy snow. Thus a group of "air men surfing the bamboo sea" were born. In 2008, air men’s skill of surfing the bamboo sea was listed as an intangible cultural heritage of Ningbo.
