余村:“千万工程”从“浙”里起步

Yu Village——The Origin of the Green Rural Revival Programme

2018年9月26日,联合国的最高环境荣誉——'地球卫士'颁奖典礼在美国纽约举行,浙江省'千村示范、万村整治'工程(以下简称'千万工程')荣获联合国'地球卫士奖'中的'激励与行动奖'。2003年6月,在时任浙江省委书记习近平的倡导主持下,浙江在全省启动'千万工程',目标是从全省千万个村庄中选择1万个左右的行政村进行全面整治,把其中1千个左右的中心村建成全面小康示范村。'千万工程'让整个浙江的农村人居环境明显改善,村里的垃圾、污水有人管了,一批批粉墙黛瓦的新农房也在各地建了起来。本报的'千万工程'栏目选取了其中几个改造、发展的典型村庄,展现如今浙江农村的新面貌。本期首选'两山'理念的发源地余村,它是'千万工程'的一个缩影,亦是浙江农村发展、繁荣的新起点。

In 2018,Zhejiang’s Green Rural Revival Programme won the'Inspiration and Action'award of UNEP’s Champions of the Earth.From this issue,the new column named'Green Rural Revival Programme'will choose several typical villages to show the new look of current Zhejiang’s villages.Yu Village is the origin of the'lucid waters and lush mountains'idea.It is an epitome of'Green Rural Revival Programme'as well as the new starting point of the development and prosperity of Zhejiang villages.
