流淌的“澳”妙——桐庐深澳村

Shen’ao Village, the Flowing Mystery

在江南柔风细雨的龙门山余脉,桐庐和富阳交界的富春江畔,有一个名为'深澳'的村庄,村里人大部分姓'申屠'。'申屠'这个复姓是一个典型的北方古老姓氏,在明朝洪武年间的《桐南申屠氏宗谱》中有记载,申屠氏自炎帝后封于'申'地,赐姓曰'申',周平王晋升'申'侯为侯爵,并赐封在屠原(今陕西合阳),此后居于屠原的族人中,就有以原国姓'申'与新封地名'屠'合为复姓。南宋初期,北方的申屠家族为了躲避战乱,迁居到桐溪(今深澳)。

There is a village called'Shen’ao'by the Fuchun River at the juncture between Tonglu and Fuyang.Most of its villagers have the family name'Shentu',who have inherited the loyal and brave character of their northern ancestors.Hundreds of the architecture dating back to the Qing Dynasty witnesses the cultural tradition of Shen’ao Village’s'loyalty,filial piety,chastity and righteousness'.Villagers here are quite intelligent and have designed a complicated water supply and sewage system which is still full of environmental protection value nowadays.
