摘要
With supports from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Key Research and Development Program,the research team led by Profs.Gao CaiXia(高彩霞)and Li JiaYang(李家洋)at the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Associate Prof.Jiang LinJian(姜临建)at China Agricultural University,generated several herbicide-tolerant wheat germplasms using base editing to facilitate weed control in wheat fields.The paper,entitled“Generation of herbicide tolerance traits and a new selectable marker in wheat using base editing,”was published in Nature Plants(doi:10.1038/s41477-019-0405-0).
