摘要
寒门为何难出贵子?本文从教育观这一视角出发,在理论机制分析的基础上,利用2013年全国东中西部地区七个城市流动人口调研数据,构建logistic模型与ordered logistic模型实证检验社会地位对流动人口教育观的影响后得到以下结论:(1)社会地位对流动人口教育观形成的'枷锁'效应要远大于'鞭策'效应,且在成长教育观上尤为明显;(2)从社会地位的不同维度来看,文化地位、职业地位和经济地位对流动人口教育观形成的作用结果存在明显的异质性;(3)与'城-城'流动人口相比,'乡-城'流动人口对子女的教育意识更薄弱。基于上述结论,为增强流动人口子女接受教育的公平性,政府部门在制定公共政策时,需要充分重视纠正其父母的教育观念,积极支持和引导流动人口树立正确的教育观念。
Why is it difficult for children from poor family to achieve success?This paper will explain the problem from the perspective of family education concepts.By using the immigrating population data of seven cities in 2013,the logistic model and ordered logistic model are constructed to study the impact of parent’s social status on their education concepts.The results show that parent of immigrating population having higher social status will pay much more attention to their children’s education.It works particularly well on the terms of children’s growth education concepts.Cultural status,professional status and economic status have different effects on parent’s education concepts.Parents from urban areas pay more attention to education than parents from rural areas.According to the above conclusions,public policy should focus on correcting parent’s education concepts of immigrating population.This could help to promote their children education fairness.
