In his youth hood,10-year studying abroad in Japan had a significant impact on Guo Mo-ruo's ideas,styles and materials of poetic creation.This article,putting particular emphases on the perspective of poetry appreciation,analyzes the influence of the studying abroad on his poetry,including the influence of Japan's ideological trend of Taisho literature,that of Japanese scenery on the sources of his poetry and his literature views,and that of studying abroad experience in Japan on his individual development and the development direction of his poetry.
