西夏瓦川会考

Investigation of Wachuanhui of the Western Xia

西夏瓦川会是宋夏边界上一个军事性质较为突出的堡寨,在宋夏战争中发挥了重要作用。尽管史籍对其记载甚少,但系统考究现有文献资料,仍可对西夏瓦川会的设立、地望及基本功能等问题形成比较清晰的认识。

Wachuanhui of the Western Xia is a village fortified by wall with prominent military characteristics along the border between the Song Dynasty and the Western Xia.It played a more important role during the war between the two countries.There are a very few historical records related to it,but the systematic research based on the existing document literature can still reveal a clear picture of its establishment,position,reputation and basic functions,etc.
