George Orwell's 1984 has always been regarded as one of the masterpieces among the antitotalitarian literature works.Many researchers have studied its political significance from different angles.Through close reading,this paper focuses on the analysis of and research on its ideological connotation,and interprets the book from the two opposite aspects of totalitarianism and human nature,revealing the touching brilliance from the great strength of human nature in the shadow of the totalitarian society.
