Breeding and Application of CMS Line Shen 9A with Ability to Germinate under Conditions of Low-temperature and Flooding in Rice

神9A是重庆市农业科学院与重庆中一种业有限公司用自育保持系Q2B与广东优质抗稻瘟病材料余航丝苗杂交,从F3代中选择优良单株与野败型胞质不育系Q2A杂交后回交转育而成的籼型三系不育系,2016年8月通过重庆市技术鉴定。该不育系具有异交习性好、米质优、耐低温淹水发芽、感光抑制、抗稻瘟病的特点。用该不育系配组育成的杂交中籼新组合神9优25和神9优28分别于2017和2018年通过重庆和广西品种审定。

Shen 9 A, derived from crossing Q2 A, a WA-type CMS line, to the single plants selected from the F3 generation of Q2 B/Yuhansimiao(a breeding material with fine grain quality and blast resistance from Guangdong), is a new WA-type indica CMS line in rice, developed by Chongqing Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Chongqing Zhongyi Seed Co.,Ltd. through the sucessive backcrossing method. With the characteristics of good outcrossing habits,fine grain quality, ability to germinate under the conditions of low temperature and flooding, photosensitivity inhibition and blast resistance, it was technically identified by Chongqing Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in August, 2016. Its medium indica hybrid combinations Shen 9 You 25(Shen 9 A/Q Hui 25) and Shen 9 You 28(Shen 9 A/Q Hui 28) were registered and released to commercial production in Chongqing in 2017 and Guangxi in 2018, respectively.
