作为方法的大学

The university as a way out

无论作为一个领域还是一个学科,当前高等教育研究中对于大学的认识大多凭借其他学科的学术资源或研究视角来探究大学的问题,即以认识大学为目的,以其他相关学科的知识和理论为手段。但事实上,大学是人类社会最为成功的组织形式和制度安排之一,相关研究绝不能限于或止于以其他学科的知识和视角来解读,而应从大学本身的理念、组织与制度特性出发,通过"元研究"来激活大学自身的历史与实践经验,即"以大学为方法"——通过"大学"为其他组织以及社会本身的创新寻找可能的出路。

Whether as an academic field or a discipline,the university has been learned by higher learning scholars through academic resources or research perspectives from other disciplines,aiming at learning the university itself via knowledge and theories of other relative disciplines.In fact,the university is one of the most successful organizational forms and system arrangement in human society.Relevant research of the university must not be limited to using knowledge and perspectives from other disciplines,but should start from the concepts,organizations and institutional characteristics of the university itself,and activate the historical and practical experience of university through ' meta-research',which is 'taking the university as a way out' :to explore the possible way out for the innovation of other organizations and the society through 'the university'.
