Flow instrument is one important metering device and it has extensive application in the modernization construction,national defense and scientific research,besides,it plays a crucial role in saving the resources and protecting the environment.Based on the practical application of industrial and agricultural production and scientific research,this paper mainly introduces several kinds of commonly used flow instruments and introduces especially advantages,disadvantages and application range of each kind.With the application of new technology and new materials,the mainstream development tendency and direction of future flow instrument are analyzed.
