Design and Experimental Study of a 300GHz Pillbox Window

摘要 盒型窗是微波管的重要部件,它的质量直接影响到微波管的性能和寿命。本文采用蓝宝石作为盒型窗的介质窗片,经太赫兹TDS系统测试得到蓝宝石窗片的相对介电常数约为9.4。本文设计了输入输出为标准矩形波导的盒型窗结构,并且研究了矩形波导基模TE10模的传输特性。通过3-D电磁仿真软件进行优化参量和多次仿真得到满足条件的盒型窗。此盒型窗在300~317GHz范围内具有较小的损耗(<0.5dB)。 Output window is an important component of microwave tube.The quality of the output windows is directly related to the performance and lifetime of microwave tubes.Sapphire window disk,whose relative dielectric constant is measured about 9.4by terahertz TDS System,is used as the disk for a pillbox window in research.The input and output ports of the window are designed as standard rectangular waveguides.The transmission characteristic of the basic mode TE10 is studied.By optimizing parameters and multiple simulation in a 3-D electromagnetic simulator,apillbox window has a lower loss(<0.5dB)and a wider bandwidth from 300 to 317GHz was designed
