Expression of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor and nm23 Proteins and Microvessel Density in Hepatocellular Carcinoma and Their Relation With Metastasis

摘要 目的 研究VEGF和nm2 3表达及微血管密度与肝细胞癌转移的相关性。方法 利用免疫组织化学技术检测 5 6例HCC中VEGF、nm2 3和CD3 4蛋白的表达。结果  5 6例HCC中 ,有转移病例的VEGF表达强度明显高于无转移者 (P <0 0 1) ;而nm2 3蛋白的表达强度明显低于无转移者 (P <0 0 1) ;VEGF与nm2 3蛋白的表达强度呈明显负相关 (r =-0 64 98)。在HCC组织中MV密度随VEGF表达增强而增高 ,并呈正相关 (r =0 63 2 4) ;有转移的HCC患者其癌组织中MV密度明显高于无转移者 (P <0 0 1)。结论 提示VEGF的过表达和nm2 3的低表达或无表达均可能促进HCC转移的发生 ,检测VEGF和nm2 3蛋白表达及MV密度值有望作为判断HCC预后的参考指标。 Objective To investigate expressions of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and nm23 proteins and microvessel density in HCC,simultaneously,their relation with metastasis was also studied.Methods The expression of VEGF and nm23 and CD34 protein in 56 HCCs were detected by immunohistochemical technique.Results Of 56 HCCs, the intensity of VEGF expression in HCCs with metastasis was significantly higher than that in HCCs without metastasis (P<0 01), nm23 protein was an inverse one (P<0 01). The correlation analysis indicated that the strength of VEGF expression was negatively related to that of nm23 in 56 HCCs (r=-0 6498). The microvessel (MV) density in HCCs was positively related to intensity of VEGF expression (r=0 6324). The MV density in HCCs with metastasis was significantly higher than in HCCs without metasatsis (P<0 01).Conclusions The data suggest that overexpression of VEGF and low-expression or no-expression of nm23 protein may all promote metastasis of HCC,the detections of expressions of VEGF and nm23 proteins and MV density may be useful parameters for judging prognosis of HCC.
