铜川明《乔世宁墓志》考

Textual Research on Ming Dynasty Epitaph of Qiao Shining in Tongchuan

乔世宁,字景叔,明陕西耀州人,嘉靖四年(1525年)解元,十七年(1538年)进士。在其仕途生涯中颇有政绩。出任四川佥事时,精简政务,处理当地多年积案,并根据实际情况平反冤狱。任湖广提学副使时,督学子、兴文教,促进当地文化繁荣。任河南左参政,在小滩督理军粮得法,官民便利,其措施为后来者一直沿用。升四川按察使,因父丧未赴任。丁忧后居家十年,读书之外别无他好。乔世宁年轻时诗文曾受何景明指点,在陕西被尊为名家,有时誉。又与明代中期多位著名学者文人有交往。所著《丘隅集》十九卷,为人所重。并撰有《耀州志》十一卷,保存地方文献,为陕西名史志。乔世宁墓志为孙应鳌撰。本文依据墓志,就乔世宁的家世、生平、社会交往、论著及子嗣进行初步研究。

Qiao Shining,courtesy name Jingshu,was born in Yaozhou,Shaanxi province in the Ming dynasty.He ranked jieyuan[解元]in the 4 th year of Jiajing period(1525)and jinshi[进士]in 1538.In his official career,Qiao served in Sichuan,Huguang and Henan.making outstanding performance and considerable achievements.After his father departed,he resigned from office and immersed himself in books.He was respected for his poems and books with academic and historical values.Qiao Shining’s epitaph was drafted by Sun Ying’ao.Based on his epitaph,this article makes a preliminary study on Qiao Shining in terms of his family history,life experience,social contact,works and children.
