新科技革命已经成为生产力发展的最主要源泉和社会进步的最强大的“火车头”,从而为现实社会主义国家跨越资本主义发展的“卡夫丁峡谷”提供了可能性。全球化的发展又使得现实社会主义国家可以充分利用业已形成的科学技术的国际传播机制,广泛地吸收新科技革命的成果,努力改善工具系统的物质形态部分,创造出较高的劳动生产率,不断提高社会的物质生产水平,并最终跨越“卡夫丁峡谷”。

The new science and technology revolution has become a major source of the development of productive forces and the most powerful 'locomotive' of social progress, thus making it possible for socialist countries in their crossing over the 'Karfding Gorge' experienced by capitalism in its growth. The growth of globalization helps socialist countries in their full use of the international transmission system of the accomplished science and technology, extensive absorption of the fresh achievements brought about by the scientific and technological revolution for improving the material form of the tool system, creating higher productivity and sustained increases of material production of the society and final crossing over of the 'Karfding Gorge'.
