传播学视域下“低头族”的交流困境与出路——新解彼得斯《交流的无奈——传播思想史》

The Phubbing Phenomenon and Solutions under Communication Sight——A New Interpretation of Speaking into the Air: A History of the Idea of Communication

"低头族"作为现代媒介技术促生下的一个群体,其行为特征对现代人的生活造成了重要影响。现代媒介技术的发展看似极大地增进了人类的交流,但在这种新式交流泛滥的背景下,人类又陷入到一种新的人际交流和自我交流的困境当中。这些交流困境,彼得斯在《交流的无奈——传播思想史》一书中早有预见。彼得斯就像是预言家,预感到随着大众传播媒介的技术升级,人类将陷入到面对面交流的缺乏和人与人之间心灵上和精神上交流的困境当中。根据彼得斯的反思,"低头族"需要用仁爱之心,放弃对完美交流的追求,彼此关爱,才能走出交流困境。然而,人类"喜新厌旧"的本性、情感的复杂性和技术翻新的速度,注定会使人类陷入到新旧交流困境交替的死循环中。

Speaking into the air: A history of the idea of communication is a foundation of the dissemination of the history of ideas. Its theme is to reflect the plight of human communication. From the fundamental point of view,the theme coincides with the dilemmas of the phubbing. The author John Durham Peters is just like a prophet,who is wise enough to make a premonition that with technology upgrades of the mass media,mankind will fall into difficulties in face-to-face communications and spiritual communications as well. And this is the so called dilemma of phubbing. According to the theory raised by Peters,to get out of the dilemma,the phubbings need a caring heart and should give up the pursuit of perfection exchanges of mutual love. However,humans’ grass is always greener. The nature,the complexity of feelings and the speed of technical renovation,would lead human into the new plight of communication problems.
