外汇储备是国际储备中最重要的组成部分,持有适量的外汇储备对一国维持对外经贸往来和汇率稳定具有重要作用,对外汇储备的适度规模进行恰当测度是对其有效管理的必要条件。文章首先回顾了几种对我国影响较大的外汇储备规模测度理论,随后从测算方法和影响因素两方面介绍了国外有关外汇储备测度理论的最新进展,最后总结了这些进展对中国的启示。

Holding the right amount of international reserves is important for a country to maintain the foreign trade and exchange rate stability and measuring the moderate scale of international reserves accurately is the necessary condition to carry on the effective management of it. The foreign exchange reserves has an important status in international reserves,therefore,the article first reviews several influential foreign international reserves measure theory in our country,then presents the new developments of international reserves measure theory from the perspectives of measuring method and influence factors,and summarizes the inspiration of these progress to China.
