The development and improvement path of teachers' ability in medical universities from FAIMER——take SMU-FRI training as an example

国际医学教育与研究促进基金会(FAIMER)与南方医科大学合作,成立了区域培训中心(SMU-FRI)。FAIMER与SMU-FRI致力于医学院校教师培训,以实现教师能力的发展与提高。通过总结FAIMER的培训理念,从培训内容、培训方式方法、师资团队、教学保障等方面介绍FAIMER的培训特色,分析其对医学院校教师能力发展与提高的影响。

The SMU-FAIMER Regional Institute(SMU-FRI)is a joint venture between southern medical university and the Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research(FAIMER).FAIMER and SMU-FRI are committed to the development and improvement of teachers’abilities through the teacher training in medical universities.This paper summarizes the concept of FAIMER training,and introduces the training features of FAIMER from the aspects of training content,training methods,teaching team,teaching guarantee,etc.It also analyzes the influence of FAIMER on the development and improvement of teachers’ability in medical universities.
