On Realizing the Museum Function in the Viewpoint of the System of Public Cultural Services

公共文化服务是政府公共服务的重要内容之一,博物馆是公共文化服务体系不可或缺的重要组成部分。为社会和公众提供高品质的博物馆公共文化服务,是博物馆义不容辞的责任。在公共文化服务体系视野下,博物馆应从公益性、永久性、专业性、均等性等特性出发,重新审视自身所担当的角色。浙江自然博物馆从提升开放服务品质、公共关系构建、藏品收藏利用、开展科研科考等方面入手,努力提高公共文化服务能力和水平,使现代博物馆的功能得以有效实现。

The public cultural service is one of the most important contents of the public services of the government.The museum plays a significant role in the system,because it is the bounden duty to provide the public cultural services with high quality for both society and the public.In the viewpoint of the system of the public cultural services,the museum should reexamine its role,featuring public benefit,permanence,specialty,and evenness.Zhejiang Museum of Natural History,based upon elevating the quality of open service,construction of public relationship,collections and application,scientific research,has raised function and level of the public cultural services and has made it effective to realize the performance of the modern museum.
