The Silk Road Economic Belt is an economic and cultural zone based on ancient Silk Road connected by modern transport.The construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt is not only conducive to the promotion of cultural identity and political identity of the countries along the Belt,but provides valuable opportunities for museum development.Gansu Geological Museum,as an important hub in the Belt,should grasp this opportunity to expand cooperation and exchange among museums by applying its rich collections,work together on the integration of museum resources,launch essential exhibitions with regional characteristics,and give full play of the constructive function of the museum in the Silk Road Economic Belt.
