The Genealogy of Chinese Topologists and Its Academic Tradition

中国现代数学是从欧美现代数学移植过来的,其中拓扑学在中国是发展比较好的一个数学分支,其背后深层的原因引发关注。本文基于中国部分拓扑学家学术谱系的角度尝试来探讨该问题:通过绘制中国部分拓扑学家学术谱系,并分析其结构特征,由此探讨拓扑学的中国学术传统,得出拓扑学学术传统在中国已形成的结论。

Chinese Modern mathematics was transplanted from European and American modern mathematics.Topology was the best one of mathematical disciplines which were developed in China.The reason was thought-provoking.It is based on genealogy of part of Chinese topologists to probe the reason.This paper graphs the genealogy of part of Chinese topologists and analyses its feature to study Chinese academic tradition of topology.We conclude that the topological academic tradition in China has been formed.
