摘要
为了解决弱势群体学生表现不佳的问题,2001年英国出台并推行了"星期六教育支援"项目。该项目推行十年来,在提高学生学业成绩、增强学生信心、加强学生学习动机、改善学生行为等方面都取得了良好成效。该项目具有的创造性教学、个性化教育、丰富多彩的活动、家长的参与等特点是其取得成功的有力保障。
In order to solve the problem of the disadvantaged students’ bad performance, Britain has carried out the 'Shine on Saturdays' program in 2001. During ten years since it has been put forward, the program has achieved positive effects on students’ achievements, strengthening their confidence, improving their academic motivation and behaviors. The creative teaching, individualized education, varied activities, and parents’ involvement are the guarantees of the success of the program.
