近年来随着校史研究的兴起和流行,成果可谓是汗牛充栋,层出不穷。在传统大学研究视野的统治下,我们该如何总结过去的研究成果,开辟新的研究领域,成为当前工作的重中之重。京师大学堂作为中国近代第一所综合性国立大学,在中国近代史上有着重要的地位,回顾京师大学堂的研究历史,有利于进一步加强和深化近代大学的研究,这样可以为我们揭示近代中国大学与社会变迁的复杂面向、机制与影响。

With the increasing research of the history of university in recent years,achievements have been gained in many aspects.Under the great influence of the traditional view of university researches,how should we summarize the research results of the past and open up new areas have become the priority of current study.As the first comprehensive national university in modern China,the Imperial University of Peking plays an important role in Chinese modern history.Reviewing the research of the Imperial University of Peking is a good way to further strengthen and deepen the research of modern university,which can help to reveal the complexity of mechanism as well as influence of university in modern China and social changes.
