摘要
在学报做英文编辑工作的一年期间,发现大学生论文摘要的写作和翻译中存在诸多问题。小量抽样调查结果显示,大多数研究生的论文写得不符合规范,摘要英语译文也不尽如人意,说明许多学生对摘要这一特殊文体的语篇特征还不甚了解,从而导致摘要没写好也没翻译好。文章旨在从文体学角度分析摘要的文体特征,提出一些建议和方法,以提高大学生写作和翻译中文摘要的能力。
This paper sets out to put forward some suggestions from the perspective of stylistics to improve the writing and translating of students' abstracts.A lot of problems in writing and translating have been found during working as an English editor for one year.Sampling survey showed that the majority of the theses of the students did not conform to the criteria,neither did the translating.It is suggested that most students are not familiar with the style of an abstract,which leads to unqualified writing and translating.
